Class Overview
This is a LIVE In-Person class.
ENGAGE, PRESENT, IMPACT
Presenters deliver information to a number of different audiences. In this two-day class, you’ll learn how to create impactful presentations and deliver them in an engaging way, from introduction to conclusion. Participate in interactive activities during which you record your own presentations to evaluate your progress and identify areas of opportunity. Broaden your presentation skills and gain the practice and confidence you need to deliver messages to diverse audiences big and small.
LEARN
- The symptoms of presentation stress and tips for overcoming it
- How to prepare an impactful presentation, including a simple process for writing a clear, organized body
- How to deliver an engaging presentation including effective ways for grabbing attention and leaving the audience informed and empowered to act
- The fundamentals of how engaging presenters sound, including rate, projection and tone
- The fundamentals of how presenters look, including physical appearance, movement and body language
BRING
- Recording Device (must be capable of recording both audio & visual for 10-15 minutes)
- Notebook & writing utensil to take notes

Jami Ruckdeschel
Jami has been with AVEDA since 1998 and is a graduate from the AVEDA Fredrik’s
Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has worked in the AVEDA Network in many facets
including stylist, educator, and mentor. She is an AVEDA certified hair cutting coach,
AVEDA Hair color Mentor Purefessional, and a Master Stylist/Colorist. The AVEDA
mission lives inside of her and she truly believes that learning never ends. Jami
believes in inspiring others, creating opportunities and changing lives.
