Alberto Swanson
Alberto has been with Aveda for over 19 years and has grown within the Aveda culture. He started out in the Aveda Experience Centers, worked up to a management position and later, being inspired by David Adams at Hair Color USA, he enrolled in Beauty School. In his 10 years of work as Senior Colorist and Education Lead for Van Michael Miami, Alberto had the opportunity to work with several fashion brands including, GUCCI, ESCADA and BABY PHAT, as well as serve a celebrity clientele. He had the unique opportunity to be lead colorist for Van Michael Salons for Aveda Master Jam as well as work with Ian Michael Black as part of the Aveda Hair Color Team for Aveda Congress and for the Behind The Chair Color Shows. He co-created Aveda’s Beyond Balayage curriculum which launched globally and was also part of the Full Spectrum Deep Fusion development. As his passion for education grew, he took the next step in his evolution and accepted a role as Executive Director of Hair Color Sales and Education for Neill Corporation. As an Aveda Guest Artist and Aveda Purefessional™ he continues to share his love for education and help others evolve in their craft.
